Mango Lassi - a smoothie made by blending yogurt, water and mango pulp. This is very refreshing and nutritious drink.
|Ripe Mangoes||2 or 3|
|Honey | Sugar||2tbsp|
1). Peel the mango skin, discard seed and cut the mangoes into small pieces.
2). Add the mangoes, yogurt, milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar into a mixer/blender and blend for 2 minutes. Make sure the mangoes are completely blended it to a smoothie consistency.
3). Add water to adjust consistency to your liking as the best Lassi is slush-like.
4). Pour into glasses, freeze in the fridge for 30 minutes or serve immediately.
This is wonderful on hot summer days or as a compliment to spicy meals !! Enjoy !!
1. Use ripe mangoes that have the least amount of fiber.
2. If you don't have fresh mangoes, substitute with canned Mango pulp.
3. Add in some milk and extra sugar if the yogurt is too sour.
You can use plain or strawberry flavored yogurt according to your choice.
