Oats Halwa | ஓட்ஸ் அல்வா

This sheera has a new taste that is sure to rock taste buds of old and young…a must try !!!  

Ingredients :
 Oats  1 cup
 Ghee   1 tbsp
 Dates   ½ cup   
 Sugar     ½    
 Banana (mashed)      2   
 Milk  1 cup  
 Almonds (peeled & sliced )     1 tbsp for garnishing 

Method :
1. Heat the ghee in a pan, add the oats and saute on a medium flame for 5 - 7 minutes, till it becomes light brown.
2. Add chopped dates, mashed bananas, sugar, milk and mix well, simmer till the sugar melts. Keep stirring continuously.
Garnish with almonds and serve .. Enjoy !!
