Apple Banana sandwich | ஆப்பிள் பனானா சான்ட்விச்

Apple Banana sandwiches are delish ! These sandwiches are simple, but impressive combination of flavors perfect for after-school snacking or a quick lunch. 

Ingredients :-
 Wheat bread  2 slices
 Apple (sliced)  ½
 Ripe banana (sliced) ½
 Crunchy peanut butter    1 tbsp
 Jam      1 tbsp
 Cereal (optional)  2 tbsp 
 Chocolate syrup  as needed   

Method :-
1). Toast the bread slices and cut off the crust from the sides. Quarter, core the apple and slice the fruits into thin slices.
2). Spread  peanut butter on one side of the bread. Sprinkle cereal so that it sticks to the peanut butter and covers the bread.
3). Spread Jam on the other slice and place a layer of sliced apples.
Place the sliced banana's on top of apples.
4). Drizzle chocolate syrup and place the slices together. Cut diagonally and serve. 
Method - 2 :-
1). Blend peanut butter, apple and banana. Spread 2tablespoon of the blended filling on one slice of the bread, top it with another slice of bread.

2). You can  store the left over filling in the fridge.
Enjoy the quickie sandwich !!  So simple and filling !!

Note :-
# you can use any toppings of your choice like honey, raisins and cinnamon Also you can use creamy peanut butter.
# Topping variation - Combine sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on top of fruits.
