Oats is a hearty breakfast packed with cholesterol-lowering soluble fiber. Leaving the apple skin on contributes even more fiber. Most of the fat is a healthy monounsaturated fat from the nuts. They are filling and delicious.

1. In a microwave safe bowl, mix together Oats and Milk. Microwave on high for 1 minute.(Make sure you use a container big enough so it doesn't boil over) Continue to microwave until mixture starts to boil (about 1 more minute). Carefully remove oatmeal from microwave, add sugar, cardamom and stir.
