Rasa Podi | ரசம் பொடி | Rasam powder

Rasa Podi/ Rasam Powder is made fresh and when stored for a long time loses its freshness and aroma.   
Nothing can beat hot rasam prepared with fresh home made rasam powder! This is my mom's version. This podi makes the best tasting Rasam.

Ingredients :-
-------------------
 Coriander seeds    3 tbsp
 Cumin 4 tsp
 Pepper    2 tsp   
 Red Chillies     7 
 Toor dal  2 tsp

 Method :-
 -----------
1). Dry roast all the ingredients on low flame.
2). When cool grind to a coarse powder and store in airtight container.

Notes :-
-----------
# For 2 cups of Rasam use 1 teaspoon of Rasam powder. 
# You can adjust the amount of spices according to your taste.
