Onion Tomato Raita | வெங்காய பச்சடி | Vengaya Pachadi

 Onion Tomato Raita is creamy and very refreshing. It is an excellent cooling accompaniment for rice varieties and Indian bread varieties. It is mildly spiced which adds flavor and gives a soothing and cooling touch. 

Ingredients :- 
Curd  1 cup
Onion (finely sliced / chopped)  1
Tomato (finely chopped)  1
Coriander Leaves (Finely chopped)     2 tsp
Chilli powder  ½ tsp
Cumin powder  ¼ tsp
Chat Masala ¼ tsp
Salt  to taste     

Method :-
1). In a mixing bowl, beat the curd till smooth and creamy. 
2). Add chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves and  combine well. 
3). Finally add chilli powder, salt and mix well. Sprinkle Chat masala and serve ! 
Notes :-
Substitute red chilli powder with white pepper powder.
