This Thayir sevai is totally soothing, I served it along with Vegetable Sevai which is the spicier version. Check other sevai versions which I have already posted -> Veg Sevai & Tomato Sevai.
|Instant Sevai / Idiyappam||10o grams|
|Curd / Yogurt||1 cup|
|Green Chillies(finely chopped)||2|
|Ginger (grated)||½" piece|
|Curry leaves||1 sprig|
|Urad dal||½ tsp|
|Channa dal||½ tsp|
1). Heat water in a deep pan and switch off when it boils. Then add the sevai and keep it covered for 3-5 minutes till rice sevai is tender. Drain the water and set it aside. (or) Prepare rice sevai as per the instructions on the pack.
3). Mix the cooked sevai and the curd along with salt. Little by little add milk and combine everything together. Finally add the seasoning and mix together.
# You can also garnish with grated Carrots, Pomegranates, Grapes and nuts.
# Use full cream milk, it gives a creamy texture. If you are not using milk, Sevai becomes very thick.
