Aloo Gobi Mattar Masala - Dry


Ingredients :-

 Cauliflower (separated into small florets)    2 cups
 Potato (cubed)    1 cup
 Peas (fresh or frozen    ½ cup
 Onion 1
 Turmeric powder    
 Chilli powder  1 tsp
 Turmeric powder  ¼ tsp
 Sambar powder  ¾ tsp 
 Salt to taste
 

Method :-

1).  Cut the cauliflower to medium size florets and keep them immersed in salted water for 15-20 minutes. Drain the florets and keep aside. Peel the skin and cube the potatoes. It should be same size of cauli florets.

2). Add potatoes, peas and cauliflower florets in a pan along with salt, turmeric powder and water. Cook till veggies get cooked but make sure not to make it mushy. It should be just cooked through and still holding their shape. Keep stirring in between and add more water if needed.

3). Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and let it splutter. Then add urad dal and channa dal, saute till they turn golden color. Add onion,salt and saute till they turn translucent. Add sambar powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and mix.

4). When all the powder gets cooked, add the cooked veggies and combine together so that veggies are well coated in the masala. Switch off !
